Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Templeton Crash at Las Tablas and Hawley

TEMPLETON, CA (May 25, 2023) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Las Tablas Road and Hawley Street in Templeton.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the accident took place on Thursday evening. Officers reported the collision on May 25 at about 7:05 p.m.

The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Templeton. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Las Tablas Road and Hawley Street.

Victim Hit by Vehicle

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist involved stopped and stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced the area of Las Tablas and Hawley to shut down after the accident.

The cause of the Templeton pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
