Scooter Rider Seriously Injured in Templeton Crash on Ramada Drive
TEMPLETON, CA (June 17, 2022) – A scooter rider was seriously injured after a crash on Ramada Drive in Templeton.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:17 p.m.
CHP said the rider of a Vespa scooter and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the Templeton area. The two crashed at 3340 Ramada Drive.
Vespa Involved in Wreck
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 101. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not confirm if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. Officers forced a stretch of Ramada Drive to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Templeton crash is still under investigation.
