Man, 19, Killed in Crash on Interstate 10 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2022) — Teobaldo Santiago, 19, died in a motorcycle accident involving a white SUV Friday morning on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of the Alameda Street on ramp.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:13 a.m. on Oct. 14th in the downtown area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles collided in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics responded to help those involved, but sadly the teen rider died at the scene of the crash. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the young man on its website as Teobaldo Santiago. The young man suffered blunt head trauma in the crash.
The driver in the white SUV stopped and is cooperating with police. Also, police issued a SigAlert for the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes and a semi-truck pulled over following the motorcycle crash, but it’s unknown if it was involved.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Interstate 10 Freeway motorcycle accident.
