Teresa Bowlin Killed in Rancho Mirage Crash Involving DUI Suspect

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (May 20, 2026) — Teresa Bowlin, 57, of Cathedral City, died Saturday in a two-vehicle collision involving a suspected drunk driver on Dinah Shore Drive and George Montgomery Way in Rancho Mirage.

The deadly collision occurred around 8:07 a.m. on May 16th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities say the other driver, identified as Tyler Conant, 23, was allegedly driving drunk when his pickup truck struck the woman’s white sedan. Both vehicles had major front-end damage.

Paramedics responded and sadly, confirmed the woman’s death on scene at 8:24 a.m., the report said.

Investigators say the suspect had reportedly exited his vehicle and run off following the crash, according to the sheriff’s department.

Authorities booked the suspect into the John Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of murder and felony hit-and-run charges. Conant scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, May 20.
