1 Seriously Injured in Terra Bella Crash at Avenue 80 and Road 236
TULARE COUNTY, CA (April 4, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Avenue 80 and Road 236 in Terra Bella.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:21 p.m.
CHP said two sedans, colored red and silver respectively, collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Avenue 80 and Road 236 in Terra Bella.
Car Collision Near Highway 65 in Tulare County
One of the cars involved sustained front-end damage while the other ended up with rear-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 65.
Medical personnel found one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the hospital for treatment.
The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection of Avenue 80 and Road 236 to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Terra Bella crash.
