4 Injured in Tesla Crashed Into Studio City BevMo at Ventura and Laurel Canyon
STUDIO CITY, CA (October 21, 2022) – Several were injured after a Tesla crashed into a BevMo in Studio City at Ventura and Laurel Canyon boulevards.
According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 4 p.m.
The incident began when a Dodge Challenger was traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of Ventura and Laurel Canyon boulevards.
Speeding Driver Causes Wreck
Police said the speeding driver then struck a black Tesla. In the process, the Tesla hit a parked Toyota RAV4, a parking meter, and slammed into the glass storefront of the BevMo.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of four people, one adult and three children, who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel treated all four patients for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the BevMo store and the road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Studio City Tesla crash is still under investigation.
