Tessie Nicole Odom, 36, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 108
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, February 15th
February 21, 2019 – The woman killed in a pedestrian this past Friday has been identified as 36-year-old Tessie Nicole Odom, of Sonora.
According to a local news source, Odom stepped onto the roadway for an unknown reason and was struck by a 2016 Chrysler 200 heading east on SR-108 near West Stockton Road intersection.
The impact reportedly sent Odom flying into an oncoming 2018 Ford F-350, driven by 28-year-old Glenn Gray, of Chinese Camp.

Responding paramedics pronounced Odom dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Gray and the driver of the Chrysler, 21-year-old Timothy Hollis of Sonora, both stayed in the area following the collision.
The California Highway Patrol is the agency handling the investigation. As per the article, detectives continue to look into whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
