3 Seriously Injured in Thermal Crash at Harrison Street and Avenue 61

THERMAL, CA (November 27, 2021) – Several were seriously injured after a car crash at Harrison Street and Avenue 61 in Thermal.

According to the KESQ News and My News LA, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:07 p.m.

The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Thermal. They crashed at the intersection of Harrison Street and Avenue 61.

2 Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated the trapped occupants from the wreckage. A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Two victims sustained serious injuries while the third patient survived with moderate injuries. Medical personnel then took them to the hospital for treatment.

The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Thermal crash is still under investigation.

The California Highway Patrol forced Harrison Street to shut down between Avenue 61 and Avenue 62 following the wreck.
