Thomas Carrillo, 33, Killed in Fullerton Hit-and-Run Crash on Orangethrope Avenue
FULLERTON, CA (June 25, 2021) – Thomas Carrillo was killed after a hit-and-run crash on Orangethrope Avenue in Fullerton.
Police identified the 33-year-old Fullerton man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place last week on Wednesday.
The incident happened on June 16 when Thomas Carrillo was apparently riding on a skateboard on westbound Orangethrope Avenue in Fullerton. For an unknown reason, a vehicle struck him.
Fullerton police said the driver hit Thomas Carrillo in the 2100 block of East Orangethrope. My News LA wrote that the accident occurred at about 10:20 p.m.
Skateboard Rider Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the skateboarder left lying on the ground. He died as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled southbound on Acacia Avenue. They described the car as a dark-colored 4-door sedan.
The hit-and-run vehicle sustained front-end damage after hitting Thomas Carrillo. The Fullerton collision near State College Boulevard is still under investigation.
