Thomas Lazansky, 67, Injured in Lake Berryessa Crash on Highway 128
NAPA COUNTY, CA (May 20, 2021) – A fatal crash on Highway 128 near Lake Berryessa left Thomas Lazansky injured.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 67-year-old Davis man as the victim of the accident which occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident began when Thomas Lazansky was driving a truck that was towing a trailer on Highway 128 near Lake Berryessa. At the same time, Daniel Snyder was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson in the area.
For an unknown reason, the 68-year-old Rio Vista motorcyclist crossed over the double yellow center lines. CHP said he went into the path of the truck.

In the process, the two collided east of Greaves Road. The Napa Valley Register wrote that the wreck took place on May 19 at about 2:15 p.m.
Thomas Lazansky sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and pronounced Daniel Snyder dead at the scene.
Medical personnel provided treatment to Lazansky at the site. Meanwhile, CHP forced Highway 128 to shut down in both directions for two and a half hours following the wreck.
The tragic Lake Berryessa crash is still under investigation.
