Thomas Sierra, 65, Killed in Victorville Crash at Bear Valley and Industrial
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 8, 2021) – Thomas Sierra was killed after a crash at Bear Valley Road and Industrial Boulevard in Victorville.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the 65-year-old Victorville man as the victim of the fatal wreck on Friday morning.
The incident happened on May 7 when Thomas Richard Sierra was driving a 2005 Honda Odyssey on Industrial Boulevard in Victorville. At the same time, a 2020 Porsche Panamera was going west on Bear Valley Road.
Deputies said Thomas Sierra then tried to make a turn onto eastbound Bear Valley Road. In the process, the Porsche collided with the driver side of the minivan.

The Panamera sustained front-end damage while the Honda obtained damage to the driver’s side upon impact. The Daily Press and Victor Valley News reported the accident at about 5:40 a.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found Sierra suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed him to the Desert Valley Hospital, where he died. Officers did not mention if the other motorist ended up hurt after the collision.
Officials forced westbound Bear Valley between Ridgecrest and Industrial to shut down for several hours following the wreck. The cause of the tragic crash is still under investigation.
