2-Vehicle Crash on 101 Freeway in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (July 19, 2021) – A Thousand Oaks crash on the 101 Freeway Monday morning left one person with injuries, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision happened around 5:23 a.m. on July 19th on the northbound 101 Freeway near Moorpark Road.
The drivers of a black Audi and a white Subaru collided due to unknown circumstances. Both vehicles came to a stop blocking the freeway after the Thousand Oaks crash.
Minor Injury Crash on 101 Freeway
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene and located the driver of the Audi suffering from minor injuries. The CHP report did not mention if the person was taken to a hospital for further treatment. Also, the age and gender of the injured driver did not get disclosed.
Additionally, tow trucks removed both vehicles from the Thousand Oaks crash scene.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of the Thousand Oaks crash.
