Major Crash on Highway 101 in Thousand Oaks
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2022) — A 3-vehicle Thousand Oaks crash happened Friday morning on the southbound Ventura 101 Freeway, just north of Hampshire Road.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred about 8:22 a.m. on Nov. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The drivers of a white Nissan transit van, a black Mercedes SUV and a Nissan Maxima are involved in the wreck. Two of the vehicles crashed into a sound wall and suffered front-end damage in the crash.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to help those possibly injured in the collision.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed three vehicles from the roadway due to damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Thousand Oaks crash on the Ventura 101 Freeway.
