1 Seriously Injured in Thousand Palms Crash on Ramon Road
THOUSAND PALMS, CA (December 6, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Ramon Road in Thousand Palms.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place on Monday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 7:53 a.m.
CHP determined that a black sedan and a white work truck collided in Thousand Palms. The two crashed at 73010 Ramon Road near Sierra Del Sol and Monterey Avenue.
Car and Work Truck Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in front of the Circle K convenience store. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Ramon Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Thousand Palms crash is still under investigation.
