THOUSAND PALMS, California (April 4, 2017) – A major injury collision occurred in the area of Varner and Ramon roads on Tuesday afternoon, according to KESQ.
The accident took place near the intersection just after 4 p.m.
As per the article, Riverside County Fire Department said three vehicles were involved in the crash. A male driver was extricated from a car involved after he was initially pinned inside.
The man was then transported to the hospital with injuries described by the officials as significant. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the other two motorists sustained minor injuries but declined to be treated.
Authorities will continue to investigate what caused the incident.
