6 Injured in Thousand Palms Crash on Interstate 10 Near Bob Hope Drive
THOUSAND PALMS, CA (November 24, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on the Interstate 10 near Bob Hope Drive in Thousand Palms.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:15 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Thousand Palms. They crashed on the westbound Interstate 10, east of Bob Hope Drive.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of six people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Two patients sustained major injuries while the other four survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel then took the victims to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Thousand Palms crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the westbound lanes of the Interstate 10 to shut down near Bob Hope Drive following the wreck.
