2 Seriously Injured in Crash Near Thousand Palms Canyon and Ramon Roads
THOUSAND PALMS, CA (March 14, 2022) – Two were seriously injured after a crash near Thousand Palms Canyon Road and Ramon Road.
According to an article published by The Desert Sun, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:35 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Thousand Palms. They crashed near the intersection of Thousand Palms Canyon and Ramon roads.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. The rescued individual sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Another person ended up with moderate injuries. Medical personnel then took both patients to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Thousand Palms and Ramon to shut down after the crash.
The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
