Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on I-10 Freeway
THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (August 4, 2022) — A fatal Thousand Palms pedestrian accident happened Thursday morning on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway between Ramon Road and Bob Hope Drive.
Two drivers reportedly struck the woman about 11:05 a.m. on August 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The woman’s vehicle was found nearby the Ramon Road exit, the dispatch said.
One of the vehicles involved stopped at the Monterey Avenue off ramp, but no other motorists stopped after the crash.
Police issued a SigAlert and authorities redirected traffic from the freeway just west of Bob Hope Drive.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Thousand Palms pedestrian accident.
