Three-Vehicle Collision on I-215 Freeway, Near Central Avenue in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif., (Oct. 26, 2026) — A traffic collision involving three vehicles occurred Monday on the Interstate 215 Freeway North near Central Avenue in Riverside.

The incident, reported on Oct. 26th at approximately 4:40 PM, involved a Toyota Corolla and two other unspecified vehicles. According to the California Highway Patrol, all vehicles were moved to the right-hand side of the freeway, clearing the lanes for traffic.

Emergency responders, including CHP and fire units, were dispatched following reports of injuries. A driver in the Toyota Corolla was reportedly injured and required medical assistance. At 5:05 PM, the situation was escalated, and paramedics were en route to the scene as the collision status was updated to include emergency medical response.

The incident remains under investigation by CHP to determine fault.
