Tiffany Conway Killed in Grover Beach Pedestrian Accident

Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Grand Avenue and 7th Street

Grover Beach, CA (February 22, 2023) – Tiffany Heather Eva Conway, a 46-year-old female, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Grand Avenue and 7th Street.

The KSBY News reported Conway was walking inside a marked crosswalk at the intersection in Grover Beach. While in the roadway, a vehicle heading east on Grand struck the pedestrian. Officials said the horrible crash took place on January 11, Wednesday.

Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Grover Beach

Shortly after 7:15 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the female pedestrian suffering in life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts performed by medical personnel, the victim sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The Grover Beach Police Department later identified the deceased as Tiffany Heather Eva Conway, of San Luis Obispo.

Preliminary investigation revealed speeding played a role in the unfortunate event. Police requested the suspect be charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence; speeding; and failure to yield to a pedestrian at a crosswalk.

Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
