Woman, 53, Killed in Crash on Antelope Freeway

ACTON, Calif. (June 7, 2024) – Tiffany Grimes, 53, died after a two-vehicle crash last Saturday on the Antelope (14) Freeway, near Ward Road in the Acton area.

The traffic accident occurred at around 3:56 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the northbound 14 Freeway at Ward Road and discovered one person severely injured at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department also had paramedics at the accident site who pronounced the victim deceased.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner has not yet released the victim’s name, age or gender.

Police issued a Sigalert issued at 4:30 a.m. and closed down the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Antelope 14 Freeway.
