Victim of Crash at Fresno Intersection ID’d
FRESNO, Calif. (June 15, 2023) – Timothy Aguilar, 32, of Fresno, died and another person was injured in a Fresno crash at Helm Avenue and McKinley Avenue.
The Fresno Police Department said the collision occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Friday night.
The Fresno man suffered major injuries and died at the hospital, according to Your Central Valley.
A driver in a pickup truck reportedly rear-ended a black car before it veered off the road and crashed into a tree at the intersection. The truck caught on fire after the crash and the man driving was critically injured.
Paramedics responded and rushed Timothy Aguilar to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, a woman riding with a man in the black car suffered minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Fresno crash on Helm Avenue.
