Los Angeles, Calif. (March 9, 2023) – Timothy Billberry, 23, died early Wednesday morning in a fiery, multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred about 2 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Multiple vehicles collided in the westbound side of the freeway near Crenshaw Boulevard.
Additionally, one of the vehicles caught on fire during the violent crash.

Paramedics responded and located Timothy Billberry lying in the middle of the roadway, MyNewsLA reports. Despite efforts to save his life, the young man died at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner later identified the victim.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down a portion of the freeway to conduct an investigation into liability for the crash on the 10 Freeway. Preliminary indications are that speed was a factor in the collision.
