Timothy Neil Clark, 51, Suspect in Deadly Car Accident on Highway 49
Roseville, CA (May 3, 2021) – Police arrested 51-year-old Timothy Neil Clark in relation with a fatal traffic collision that occurred on Highway 49, on April 1, 2020.
According to FOX40 News, Timothy Clark was behind the wheel of a Dodge Durango traveling on Highway 49. Preliminary investigation revealed Timothy Clark allowed the Dodge to veer off the highway and cross over the center median. The Dodge drove directly into the path of a couple driving from their home in Roseville.
Husband, Wife Killed in Roseville DUI Car Crash
The head-on collision instantly killed the 93-year-old Daniel Sanford. Authorities added his wife, 85-year-old Shirley Sanford sustained life-threatening injuries from the accident. For this reason, paramedics transported the patient to the hospital. The article published online mentioned the woman sadly died several days following the horrible crash.
Meanwhile, investigators reportedly determined Timothy Clark was intoxicated at the time of the tragic incident. For this reason, police arrested the man and took him into custody on DUI murder charges. Furthermore, authorities sentenced Timothy Clark to life in prison as prior DUI convictions elevated his charges to murder in the second degree.
