Rio Linda Man Killed in Crash on Elkhorn Boulevard
RIO LINDA, Calif. (April 13, 2021) — Timothy Estabrook, 41, of Rio Linda, died last Friday in a head-on collision on Elkhorn Boulevard in Rio Linda.
Additionally, the crash happened about 7:47 p.m. on April 9th near 22nd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision involved the drivers of a green Jeep Cherokee and a pickup truck. However, it’s unknown which car veered into the path of the other. One of the vehicles was wrapped around a pole and it sheared off at the base.
Man Killed in Sacramento-Area Crash
Meanwhile, there were few details provided in the CHP dispatch report about the crash. However, the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner later identified Timothy Estabrook as the person who died.
Finally, it’s unknown if others were also hurt in the collision. Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
