Cyclist Dies in Collision Near Baker Avenue
Rancho Cucamonga, CA (June 3, 2022) – Timothy Warwick, a 57-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Foothill Boulevard on May 30.
According to Fontana Herald News, Warwick was riding a bicycle traveling in the streets of Rancho Cucamonga Monday evening. For reasons still unclear, two vehicles traveling east on Foothill struck the cyclist. The horrible crash took place in the area near Baker Avenue.
Fatal Bicycle Accident on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga
Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after 10:23 p.m. Responding paramedics found the cyclist with serious injuries. The article published online mentioned an ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital where he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities later identified the fatal victim as Timothy Warwick, of Upland.
Officials mentioned the two drivers: a 44-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man, and a 27-year-old Fontana man, both appeared unharmed after the collision.
Detectives stayed at the accident scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly crash on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga.
