TIPTON, California (Feb. 22, 2017) — Two people were injured Wednesday morning when a pickup truck and SUV collided and one overturned and struck a power pole at Road 112 and Avenue 164 , according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 7:30 a.m. this morning on the frontage road next to Highway 99, near Martella’s Livestock Market. The white Chevrolet Silverado crashed into a power pole and a vehicle landed on its roof.
Paramedics responded to help the victims including a person with a broken leg and a man with a head injury that was in and out of consciousness, the report said.
Police are heading up an investigation into what led to the crash and liability.
