Tobias Rubio, 22, Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash at Avenue 12 and Road 34 1/2 Thursday
MADERA, Ca (December 13, 2019) – A 22-year-old man suffered injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Avenue 12 and Road 34 1/2 Thursday, the Fresno Bee News reported.
Authorities identified the injured party as Tobias Rubio.
Madera County Sheriff’s Deputy Involved in Car Accident, December 12
Preliminary investigation revealed a Madera County Sheriff’s deputy was traveling east on Avenue 12 around 9:30 p.m. For reasons still unclear, the deputy failed to see a 1996 Dodge and crashed into its rear. The impact caused the Dodge to run into a 2016 Nissan driving in front of them.
Our sources indicated Rubio, an occupant in the Dodge, suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. It remained unclear whether Rubio received treatment at a hospital, or at the scene.
Officials added the 23-year-old man driving the Nissan–Nicholas Post, of Murfreesboro, Tenn, declined treatment after the mishap.
Meanwhile, the name of the deputy and their condition following the collision remained undisclosed.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
