Victim Suffers Skull Fracture and a Bruised Lung
POMONA, California (July 16, 2016) – A 15-month-old boy suffered major trauma as a result of being struck by a vehicle on East Olive Street, according to an article by SGV Tribune.
The accident took place on July 15, Friday at around 8:40 p.m.
In detail, the article mentioned the child was at a location with his parents attending a little gathering. Then, one of the visitor went to his car and was about to leave the place. The visitor backed its car unaware that the child had walked behind the vehicle.
The force from the impact resulted in the child suffering in major injuries. Responding Los Angeles County Fire Department treated the child at the scene before airlifting him to the hospital.
The child has been later diagnosed with a skull fracture and is suffering in a bruised lung. The patient stayed at the hospital in stable condition.
The names of the involved were not disclosed as of the moment.
