Girl Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Cross Creek Apartments Parking Lot
Irvine, CA (October 28, 2022) – A 2-year-old girl died following a traffic accident that occurred on Creek Road Thursday evening.
According to My News LA, and FOX11 News the child was riding a scooter on the sidewalk heading south on Creek Road. Earlier reports indicated when the girl approached the area near the parking lot exit of the Cross Creek Apartments, a black Honda Odyssey hit her.
The horrible crash took place at approximately 8 p.m.
The article published online mentioned the driver of the Honda was exiting the parking lot when the collision happened.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found the child unconscious. Authorities later confirmed the girl sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away.
Officials mentioned the driver involved in the horrible crash stayed and cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident that happened on Creek Road in Irvine.
