Two Killed in Collision on I-5 Freeway in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, Calif. (April 21, 2025) — A toddler and an elderly man both died in a two-vehicle Anaheim crash on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near Magnolia Avenue.
Three others were transported to a trauma center with serious injuries due to the collision at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, April 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported that the driver of a white Chevrolet SUV crashed into a dark-colored Ford SUV. The white SUV also overturned several times before it landed on an embankment beside the freeway.
Meanwhile, the Ford SUV came to a rest on the freeway’s shoulder facing the wrong way. The violent crash left debris scattered across traffic lanes and both vehicles were totaled.
Finally, the cause of the crash remains under investigation and it’s unknown if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
