2-Vehicle, Head-on Crash on Lodge Road in Tollhouse
TOLLHOUSE, Calif. (July 1, 2022) — A head-on crash on Lodge Road happened Friday morning, just south of Riverbelle in Fresno County.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 4:28 a.m. on July 1st in front of 36743 Lodge Road, just northwest of Tollhouse Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Mitsubishi Gallant and a Toyota pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances.
The driver from the Mitsubishi called 911 to report the crash and told operators the driver from the Toyota was acting hostile. Paramedics responded to help one person who suffered minor injuries, but a second person was unharmed. Both vehicles required tow trucks due to damage from the crash.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine liability.
