Tomas Mendoza, 42, Killed in Ontario Crash on Mission Boulevard and Palmetto Avenue
ONTARIO (January 12, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Mission Boulevard and South Palmetto Avenue Thursday evening, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Tomas Mendoza Jr., of Riverside.
A statement released online by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said Mendoza was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Mission Boulevard when for an unknown reason he collided with a Toyota Tundra.
Mendoza was immediately taken to Chino Valley Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, deputies did not mention whether the driver of the Tundra stopped or was injured following the crash. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
