Woman Inside Apartment Injured After Car Plows Into Building on Belle Terrace
Bakersfield, CA (June 1, 2021) – Police arrested 47-year-old Tomice Lee Fryman Jr. in relation with a car accident that occurred on Belle Terrace on April 27, 2021.
The KGET News reported Tomice Fryman Jr. was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling on Stockdale Highway. Due to the alleged intoxication of the driver, Tomice Fryman Jr. reportedly barreled through a lane closure on the hihgway.
Officers in the area immediately launched a pursuit. When the chase approached the area near McDonald Way, Tomice Fryman Jr. veered off the roadway.
The suspect vehicle ended up plowing into an apartment on Belle Terrace.
Shortly after 1 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the scene and found a woman inside the apartment with injuries. Paramedics treated the victim for minor injuries.

Meanwhile, police reportedly took Tomice Fryman Jr. into custody. The suspect pleaded no contest to DUI causing bodily injury; and recklessly evading a peace officer.
