HESPERIA, Calif. (July 17, 2023) — Tommy Mejia, 47, of Hesperia, died in a pedestrian accident Tuesday night at Hesperia Road and Sycamore Street in Hesperia.
The fatal crash occurred around 10 p.m. on July 11th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the intersection where a vehicle had struck a pedestrian due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics also responded and located Tommy Mejia suffering from major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:23 p.m., the report said.
The driver stopped and is cooperating with police. There are no further details about the collision at this time.
Meanwhile, the case remains under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Hesperia Station.
