3-Vehicle Crash North of Malibu
TOPANGA, Calif. (July 31, 2023) — A 3-vehicle Topanga car accident happened Sunday night at Stunt Road and Saddle Peak Road, just north of Malibu.
Authorities are investigating whether street racing was involved in the 11:15 p.m. crash on July 30th, according to a report by KTLA 5 News.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded with paramedics and located one vehicle engulfed in flames.
A second vehicle fell 30 feet down an embankment and all three motorists had major crash damage..
An ambulance transported two people to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Investigators are looking into whether street racing contributed to the crash. Apparently, the Malibu sheriff’s station had several calls from people reporting they saw racing in the area.
There were no arrests made after the collision and the cause will be determined when the investigation is completed.
