1 Dead, 1 Critical after Torrance Plane Crash at Crenshaw Boulevard
TORRANCE, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2019) – One person died and another suffered major injuries Thursday in a small plane crash into the roof of a commercial building, just east of Torrance Municipal Airport.
The small place accident was reported around noon today in the 25300 block of Crenshaw Boulevard.

The Torrance Fire Department responded to the scene where a single-engine Cessna 177 carrying two people had struck a building shortly after it left Runway 11R of the Torrance airport, according to Ian Gregor of the Federal Aviation Administration,
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway by the FAA.
