
Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash in Torrance
TORRANCE, Calif. (May 19, 2023) – A motorcyclist who was injured in a Torrance crash at Sepulveda Boulevard and Anza Avenue on Wednesday has died at a hospital.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th, according to the Torrance Police Department.
The man riding a blue 2005 Suzuki motorcycle was heading west on Sepulveda Boulevard when the bike and a white 1997 Mercury collided due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where he later died a day or two later.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown if the 83-year-old woman driving the Mercury had any injuries.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash. At this time, authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs as factors.
