Pedestrian Injured in Torrance Crash on Crenshaw Near Del Amo Blvd
TORRANCE (December 27, 2018) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a traffic accident along Crenshaw Boulevard on Wednesday night, according to The Daily Bulletin.
The collision took place on December 26 at about 9:15 p.m. near Del Amo Boulevard.
As per the article, Torrance police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason on Crenshaw Boulevard near Pueblo Park.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim conscious following the crash.

The patient was then transported to a hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. The name and condition of the pedestrian at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the southbound lanes of Crenshaw Boulevard between Del Amo Boulevard and Maricopa Street were forced to shut down for nearly 30 minutes as a result of the incident.
The lanes were reopened about 9:40 p.m. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the collision.
