Cyclist Hospitalized After Collision on Torrey Pines Road
San Diego, CA (July 10, 2022) – A 55-year-old woman suffered injuries following a bicycle accident that occurred on North Torrey Pines Road Saturday morning.

The FOX News and San Diego Union-Tribune reported the woman was riding a bike traveling in the streets of the Torrey Pines neighborhood in San Diego. When the cyclist approached the 10900 block of North Torrey Pines Road, she swerved and apparently veered into the path of an oncoming tan Toyota Rav-4. The driver of the car was unable to avoid, and struck the bicyclist.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found the vicmi lying on the ground. According to the article published online, paramedics rushed the injured woman to an area hospital for treatment of severe trauma. Personal information on the bicyclist remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. Detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on North Torrey Pines Road.
