Police Officer, Driver Both Injured in Tracy Crash

TRACY, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2024) — Two drivers were injured Sunday morning in a car accident involving a Tracy police officer at North Corral Hollow Road between Eleventh Street and Fieldview Drive.

The traffic accident occurred at around 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14th, according to the Tracy Police Department. The police officer was reportedly responding to a call at the time of the collision, but it’s unknown what circumstances led to the accident.

Police closed down North Corral Hollow road, between Eleventh Street and Fieldview Drive due to the crash.

Paramedics responded and transported both the police officer and the second driver to a hospital with moderate and non-life-threatening injuries, ABC 10 News reports.

There are no further details about the crash at this time.
