4 Injured in Tracy Crash at Byron and Corral Hollow Roads
TRACY, CA (December 8, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Byron and Corral Hollow roads in Tracy.
According to an article published by the Tracy Press, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the collision shortly before 1:30 p.m.
Tracy police said four cars collided in the city on December 6. The vehicles crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of Byron and Corral Hollow roads.
The incident happened when a motorist driving on Corral Hollow Road tried to make an illegal left turn and slammed into the other cars.
Multiple Cars Collide
Police described the cars as a Toyota Camry, a Honda Accord, a Cadillac and a Nissan Altima. The Toyota and the Honda obtained major front-end damage on their passengers’ sides.
The Accord also came to a stop with broken windshield on the driver’s side. Meanwhile, both the Cadillac and the Nissan ended up with passenger-side damage upon impact.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a total of four people hurt. All patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the victims to hospitals for treatment, including one person with a broken femur. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced northbound Corral Hollow to shut down near Byron following the wreck. The cause of the Tracy crash is still under investigation.
