Driver Critical After Car vs. Truck Accident at Grant Line Road and Lincoln Boulevard Monday
Tracy, CA (January 19, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Grant Line Road and Lincoln Boulevard, the Tracy Press reported.
The accident took place on January 11, Monday.
Preliminary investigation revealed a Honda sedan was traveling west on Grant Line Road. When the sedan approached the intersection at Lincoln Boulevard, a tractor-trailer drove through at the same time and truck struck the car.
The force from the impact caused the Honda to spin across the roadway. First responders found the sedan facing south in the crosswalk near the middle of the junction.

Shortly after 5:40 a.m., rescue teams arrived and extricated the Honda driver trapped in the wreckage. After South San Joaquin County Fire Authority firefighters pulled out the victim, paramedics performed life-saving measures to the man. An ambulance then rushed the patient to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the operator of the tractor-trailer appeared unharmed after the collision. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
The news article mentioned both the wreckage of the Honda and the tractor-trailer were towed to the city corporation yard for further examination.
