3 Killed, 3 Injured in Tracy Solo-Car Crash on Grant Line Road
TRACY (December 31, 2018) – Three were killed and three others were injured after a traffic collision along Grant Line Road Saturday evening, according to Record Net.
The accident took place at approximately 7 p.m., east of MacArthur Drive.
As per the article, police said a vehicle was traveling west at a high rate of speed on Grant Line Road when its driver lost control.
The car then struck a curb, and slammed into a fire hydrant and multiple trees along the north side of the road. The vehicle was occupied by six Tracy residents ranging from 15 to 22 years old.

Tracy Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene. Two parties were rushed to the hospital where they later died.
Police affirmed that the other three parties were also hospitalized while one was listed in critical condition while the two sustained injuries considered as moderate. The names of the deceased and wounded individuals have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officers believed that alcohol played a role in the incident which remains under investigation.
