At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on 205 Freeway Saturday
Tracy, CA (September 28, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on the Interstate 205 Freeway on September 25, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a minivan veered off the traffic lanes while traveling west on the freeway. As a result, the minivan careened towards the center divider of the interstate near MacArthur Drive offramp.
Officials said the minivan struck a white Toyota SUV before hitting the barrier. The force from the impact resulted in significant damage to both vehicles.
CHP logged the incident at about 5:30 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found at least one person with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim. However, the name of the injured party, and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed.

The CHP dispatch mentioned one motorist fled the scene before police arrived. Investigators continue to work at this time to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the car crash in Tracy.
