TRACY: Traffic Collision on I-580 Freeway East Near Corral Hollow Road

TRACY, Calif., (May 4, 2026) — A traffic collision involving two vehicles resulted in minor injuries on the Interstate 580 Freeway East near the Corral Hollow Road offramp in Tracy. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the incident at approximately 3:56 p.m. on May 4, 2026.

The collision involved a white sedan and a dark SUV. Initial reports categorized the incident as a major injury traffic collision, but it was later downgraded to minor injuries. Emergency responders, including CHP units, were dispatched to the scene. One individual from the dark SUV was reportedly en route to a local service station on Chrisman Road for further assistance.

The white sedan sustained significant damage, and the location of the vehicles was noted with one on the right-hand shoulder and the other in the center divider. Traffic disruptions were noted in the No. 1 lane as authorities worked to clear the scene.
