Travis Carter, Faith Carter and Rosemary Morgan Injured in Lakeport Crash on Highway 29
LAKEPORT, Lake County (April 6, 2017) – Five were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 29 early Thursday morning, according to Lake County News.

As per the article, California Highway Patrol said 26-year-old Scott Lester Jr. was driving a 1987 Acura south on Highway 29 when for an unknown reason he lost control and drove through the grass and dirt center divide.
Lester then continued into the path of a 2004 Cadillac driven by 36-year-old Travis Carter who was going north at the time.
The two vehicles then collided. A 2013 BMW traveling behind the Cadillac veered to avoid the vehicle debris but struck the engine block from the Acura.
CHP affirmed that Lester, of Hidden Valley Lake, was seriously hurt with compound fracture to his right arm and lacerations. He was brought to Sutter Lakeside Hospital where he was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Travis Carter and one of his passengers, 4-year-old Rosemary Morgan, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Another occupant of the Cadillac, 13-year-old Faith Carter, escaped with minor wounds. All three are from Ukiah.
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Lakeport woman operating the BMW, Kathryn Smith, complained of pain. All four were taken to Sutter Lakeside for treatment.
