Woman, 53, Killed; Driver, 27, Arrested on DUI Charges in Murrieta
MURRIETA, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2024) — Trayce White, 53, of Murrieta, died in a Murrieta crash on Benton Road and Van Gaale Lane involving a suspected DUI driver.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10th, according to The Patch.
The suspect was driving a BMW when she allegedly drove through a stop sign at Van Gaale Lane and continued traveling eastbound across Benton Road. That’s when she hit a Toyota Camry occupied by Trayce White.
The Murrieta woman suffered major injuries and died following the crash.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Spring Valley woman was arrested on multiple felony charges, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sabrina A. Saucedo is being held at the Cois Byrd Correctional Facility in Murrieta.
She is charged with felony DUI causing bodily injury, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and DUI of .08 with injury.
She is scheduled to appear at the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center on Thursday, Nov. 14th.
