Motorcyclist Suffering Injuries in Crash with Semi-Truck on 405 Freeway

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (June 11, 2024) — A motorcycle and tractor trailer truck were involved in a traffic accident on Tuesday on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway at Warner Avenue.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:34 a.m. on June 11th in the Fountain Valley area of Orange County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

URGENT: Paramedics Respond to 405 Freeway

The motorcyclist reportedly collided with the United Rentals semi-truck due to unknown circumstances in the slow lane of the freeway.

The truck driver stopped after the crash and four other vehicles pulled over on the right shoulder.

Paramedics responded to assist the motorcyclist who went down in the slow lane and suffered undisclosed injuries.

Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert for the Nos. 4, 5 and 6 lanes of the freeway.

Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 405 Freeway.
