Trinidad Magana, 62, Seriously Injured in Denair Crash on Santa Fe Avenue
DENAIR, CA (September 18, 2021) – Trinidad Magana was seriously injured after a fatal car crash on Santa Fe Avenue in Denair.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 62-year-old Hughson man as the victim of the collision which took place on Thursday.
The incident began when Trinidad Magana was driving a 2003 Toyota south on Santa Fe Avenue in Denair. At the same time, a 1998 Subaru SUV was going north.
CHP said the Subaru tried to pass a vehicle in front and then moved into the southbound lane. In the process, the car slammed head-on into the Toyota.
Man, 63, Killed in Collision
The Toyota went backwards and collided with a southbound 2002 Nissan, south of Monte Vista Avenue. The Turlock Journal wrote that the accident occurred on September 16 at about 6:32 a.m.
Trinidad Magana sustained major injuries as a result of the Denair crash. An air ambulance took him to the Doctors Medical Center for treatment.
Paramedics rushed the driver of the Subaru, a 63-year-old Modesto man, to the Emanuel Medical Center, where he soon died.
The motorist in the Nissan, 48-year-old Modesto resident Ricardo Gallegos, ended up unharmed following the wreck. Meanwhile, the Denair crash is still under investigation.
